Ward, 53, Surgeon, 86 Head of Paper Firm Dr. Laura Hunt, for 50 years an ear, nose and throat surgeon who practiced in Philadelphia, died Sunday in the Longwood Villa Nursing Home, Boothwyn, Pa. She was 86 and lived in Glenmore.

Pa. Hunt retired in 1956 from active practice. A graduate of Nebraska State University and of the Womna's Medical College of Philadelphia, was former professor of otology at the latter institution. She was a member of the Pennsylvania and American Medical Societies and of the Woman's National Medical Association. She is survived by a sister, Miss Mabel Hunt, with whom she lived.

Funeral services will be conducted in Lincoln, Neb. MRS. JOSEPH FERRACIOLI, the former Lillian Luciano, died Monday at Graduate Hospital. She was 54 and lived at 2042 McClellan st. For the past 20 years, Mrs.

Ferracioli had been sewing machine operator at the Clothing 22d and Market sts. Surviving in addition to her husband are four daughters. Mrs. Joan DeAntonia. Mrs.

She won the U. S. Citizens Service Award for donating 3366 hours of voluntary work in the Second World War at servicemen's canteens and in military hospitals. She won the Advertising Federation of America Award for achievements in advertising and publicity to promote the war effort. She was active in campaigns to secure seeing -eye dogs for the blind and to purchase the first ambulance for Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the Red Cross.

HUSBAND SURVIVES She was a member of the Altrusa Club and of many other service and civic organizations. Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a sister, Mrs. Joseph. Services Kennedy, will of be Tryon, conducted N. C.

MRS. MORRIS HAHN, the former Vera Kahn, died Tuesday in her home at 6236 N. Broad st. She was 62 and widow of the former owner of Edinger's Baking 5800 Tulip st. Mrs.

Hahn was a member of Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel and Sisterhood Tivkoh Chadashok. Surviving are sons Bert and Fred; a daughter, Mrs. Ilse Kanetsky, and six grandchildren. MRS. MATILDA TULLEN, a Philadelphia school teacher 35 years, died Monday.

She was 62 and lived at Penn Towers Apartments, 18th and John F. Kennedy blvd. She taught at the Bregy School, 17th and Bigler sts. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Harriet Miller; two sisters, Mrs.

Pauline Safren and Mrs. Minnie Edelson, and three grandchildren. MRS. HARRY KAPLAN, the former Anna Kopel, died Tuesday in her home at 5301 Old York rd. She was 90 and a widow.

He was a Mason, a member of the Clover Club and the Poor Richard Club and was a director of the Urban Club.

Born in Cynwyd, he was educated at the Haverford School and the Hill School. He joined the sales department of D. L. Ward and after service in the Army during Second World War became vice president of the company founded by his grandfather in 1893. He was elected president in 1957.
